Two teenagers have been taken to Wollongong Hospital, one in a serious condition, after a car crash at West Wollongong.
Three people were in the car when it collided with a fence on Bukari Street about 12.30pm on Friday, and then caught alight.
The fire was extinguished and two of the teenagers managed to escape the vehicle, police said.
Another boy was trapped inside the car and had to be freed by Fire and Rescue crews.
The car had crumpled onto the boy and Ambulance NSW paramedics treated him for an arm laceration, neck pain and head abrasion.
A second patient, a 15-year-old boy, had right lower leg and pelvic pain as well as head pain.
The boy was also taken to Wollongong Hospital in a stable condition.
The 15-year-old driver of the car suffered minor injuries.
Police inquiries are continuing and anyone with CCTV or dashcam footage is urged to contact Wollongong Police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
