The tragedy happened near McKenzies Lookout in Burrier about 2.20pm on Saturday.

Police have been told the teenager was with three other friends when he slipped and fell.

Emergency services attended and found his body, which was retrieved and taken to Shoalhaven Hospital.

Police have commenced investigations into the circumstances of the death, however it is not believed to be suspicious.

Police will prepare a report for the information of the Coroner.
