From next Monday, new access roads will be in place for the sporting facilities.
The changes will allow for the construction of a section of the new access road into the complex.
For those wishing to get to the northern fields, which includes the Illawarra Model Car Club, Southlake BMX Club and the Little Athletics field will continue to be from Croome Road, near Cedar Street.
From next Monday, new access roads will be in place for the sporting facilities.
Access to the southern fields including hockey, netball, junior rugby league fields, senior rugby league field, cricket/AFL field and Shellharbour City Stadium will be from the current entrance gate south of the Croome Road and East West Link roundabout.
Electronic message signs will be in place during these changes to advertise specific locations, dates and detour information in advance.
Pedestrian access along the shared pathways within the complex will be maintained at all times.
Part of the sporting complex was in the path of the Albion Park Rail bypass.
This necessitated the relocation of the facilities before the bypass construction could begin.
