Emergency warnings were issued for half a dozen bushfires burning across NSW on Thursday from the South Coast to the Queensland border.
In addition to the fires near Braidwood and Batemans Bay, emergency warnings were issued near Warragamba Dam, in the Yengo and Dharug national parks and at Paddys Flat northeast of Tenterfield.
The Green Wattle Creek fire near the dam was subsequently downgraded to "watch and act" alert level.
