Trackwork, the scourge of the weekend commuter, will be taking place on the South Coast line this Saturday and Sunday.
From Dapto to Central and Port Kembla to Wollongong, anyone who had wanted to catch a train will end up jumping on a bus instead.
Eleven bus routes will be operating as replacements for trains between Port Kembla and Wollongong, and Dapto to Central.
Some buses will only be stopping at stations within the Illawarra, while some travelling to Central stop at all stations and others just at a few on the long ride to Sydney.
The transportnsw.info website lists the routes of all buses.
Trackwork buses will not stop at Wolli Creek; people wishing to get on the airport line will have to head to Central and then catch a train.
Trains will still run between Bomaderry and Kiama and Kiama and Dapto, they will be operating on a revised timetable.
