Born into a boxing family the 16-year-old has been under the tutelage of father Adrian - who shared the ring with the likes of Michael Zerafa, Sam Colomban and Jack Brukaber in a 31-bout pro career - since he could walk.
He's now emerging from the same school as older sister Tywarna, who's represented Australia at three World Championships', in claiming a NSW and Australian title in 2019.
Campbell claimed a NSW title in the 71-kilo class and followed it up with an Australian title with two victories at Club Punchbowl last weekend.
It capped a solid 2019 campaign that's seen him notch eight wins in nine outings. After tilt at state and national youth titles next year ahead of an eventual move into the pro ranks.
"Zeke's a two-time NSW champion but this is his first national title," father Adrian said.
"He's had a very dominant year, nine fights for eight wins and he's had 21 fights now all up so we're hoping for a similar year next year.
"He's still eligible to be a junior next year but we're going to go into the next division up (Youth) because he's too dominant in the junior divisions now.
"At the moment he's looking at being a professional more than Olympics or other amateur honours. Those are his goals at the moment. That may change and he's definitely got the ability to go wherever he wants to go."
The father-son dynamic has it's challenges but it's been a recipe for success thus far.
"I've trained him since he was a kid, we have our moments like any other father and son," Adrian said.
"Sometimes it's heated in the gym but he works really hard and we make it work. We've had tremendous support elsewhere as well from Melissa and Daniel Nacastri from PSI plant hire as sponsors.
"He can't do what he does without that support so we really appreciate what they've done for him."
