Kiama Council introduced water-saving measures as part of level two restrictions which began on December 10. Council will restrict watering of reserves to Hindmarsh and Coronation Park, Kiama Showgrounds and Chittick Oval. Watering of all other parks and gardens, including street gardens, will be reduced. Council staff will check public taps and showers to ensure they are spring-loaded, to prevent water being wasted. Council may close off some public taps and showers.
