The side, led by captain Mark Ulcigrai, has won six trophies on offer over the past two seasons. Another piece of silverware will be up for grabs when Lake Illawarra takes on Shellharbour in Sunday's one-day final at Geoff Shaw Oval.
"I've talked with other sides and they say we're pretty good with the white ball. I think we've been pretty luck with our ins and outs, in terms of players retiring and whatnot," Ulcigrai said.
"I think we've been a bit fragile with our batting at times. But we've been able to get ourselves out of a hole, whether it be with the ball or lower order batting."
Standing in their way on Sunday is a Shellharbour side which Ulcigrai said had improved a lot over the past few years and couldn't be underestimated.
Mitch Watterson tops the first grade competition's run-scoring list with 517 runs while teammate Brenton Geribo leads the way with the ball, taking 12 wickets.
"Shellharbour has definitely grown over the last three years," Ulcigrai said.
"They lost a lot of players at once and had to rebuild from scratch. They've gone from a team building to a force."
This weekend shapes as a double header for both Lake Illawarra and Shellharbour.
Lake Illawarra will warm up for Sunday's final when they take on Oak Flats in the last round of the one-day competition on Saturday, also at Geoff Shaw Oval.
Shellharbour will meet Albion Park at Keith Grey Oval on Saturday.
