Quiet in the first half, Creek had 18 of his 25 points in what was a decisive 33-point third quarter for the hosts on a night on which neither side looked at all interested at the defensive end of the floor.
John Roberson also relished the freedom with a game-high 28 points and five assists, while Tai Wesley stuffed the sheet with 25 points, seven rebounds and five assists.
Kyle Adnam chipped in with 15 points, while Ben Madgen set the tone with eight of his 10 points in the opening term.
Skipper Todd Blanchfield led the visitors with 22 points and five rebounds, while Sunday Dech continues to tighten his grip on league Most Improved honours with 20 points and six rebounds.
Import Darington Hobson also had his best game since joining the club with 13 points and six assists and Dan Grida chipped in 10 points from the bench.
It was the Hawks 13th loss of the season and leaves them with the tough task of regrouping ahead of their clash with league-leaders Sydney who'll be smarting from a 13-point loss to Perth in Saturday's earlier fixture.
Blanchfield opened proceedings with an and-one but couldn't nail the bonus, with back-to-back threes from Madgen and Roberson giving the hosts an early 8-4 break.
Dech fired back from the perimeter but Roberson's second triple, and eight for the term, kept the impetus with the Phoenix. Creek had a huge block on Ogilvy with Madgen completing a three-point play at the other end of the floor.
Blanchfield continued a hot start with his first from downtown, with Tim Coenraad making a contested lay-up and following up from the stripe to cut the margin back to three.
Naar tied things at 21 apiece on the fast break and Ogilvy had a block on Creek and a put back to keep things level but Madgen continued dictating terms with eight for the quarter.
Coenraad again tied the scores with a tip-in, but Adnam had two from the stripe to take a narrow 29-27 lead to the first break.
Wesley had seven to start the second, trading threes with Blanchfield, while Hobson had his first and the Hawks skipper followed up to cut things back to one.
It continued raining thees with Wesley again firing from deep to take his tally to 13, with Roberson nailing another and Hobson firing back. Another triple from Roberson and a neat spinning lay-up from Creek gave the hosts a six-point buffer and forced Flinn into a timeout.
It stayed that way for remainder of the quarter until a three from Dech and three-point play tied things up at 58-all at the main break.
Creek had a pair of threes and a lay-up on an individual 8-0 run to start the third term It went out to 15 on consecutive threes from Roberson. It hovered around that mark for the rest of the quarter before narrowing back to 10 at the final break.
A three from Glover and tough drive from Dech cut it back to five. It went back out to 12 on a three and put back from Wesley, with the Hawks never getting close as the clock ran down.
