The gelding will contest a 1500 metre benchmark 78 handicap, his first run since an unlucky fourth in the Summer Provincial Series final.
Cuban Royale will be joined in Sydney by stablemate Spectre, who also contested the provincial final in Gosford.
Spectre will race a three and four year old benchmark 70 handicap and Price is confident both horses can deliver in the city.
"Cuban Royale is weighted to his best I think," Price said. "His work's been good, his run the other day was super in that provincial final.
"Spectre's run was good in that race too, he just needed a little bit of luck in the straight and we never found it.
"We're hoping for some winners from the pair in the next couple of months. They're both going good, they've got themselves in that grade now where they need to continue to improve."
