After the NSW open men's and NSW Blues open women's sides won titles on Tuesday, the state's under-21s teams have started their campaigns in red-hot form.
The under-21s action began on Thursday and NSW's men's and women's sides lead their respective divisions.
The NSW men's side opened its account with an 8-3 win over NSW Blues (second). South Coast's Callum Mackay - who was also part of the victorious NSW open men's team - scored the first goal.
The Blues mustered the next two goals to lead at quarter time, but four unanswered goals in the second quarter helped NSW lead 5-2 at half time.
Both sides scored a goal each in the third, before NSW found the back of the net twice to round out the convincing win.
NSW backed up that performance with an 8-3 win over Victoria to take top spot on the ladder. The Blues have lost their next two games, by 5-3 and 3-1 to Western Australia and Queensland respectively.
Meanwhile, the NSW under-21s women's team also leads its division after recording two impressive victories on day one.
NSW secured a 5-0 win over the Blues, with Wollongong's Kelsey Hughes finding the back of the net to round out the win. The side also recorded a 6-1 victory over Queensland, while the Blues bounced back to seal a 2-all draw with Western Australia.
