Illawarra Aboriginal elder Aunty Lindy Lawler said the healing and activation ceremony was part of a series of events taking place nationally, involving indigenous and non-indigenous people.
Non-indigenous participant Tanya Lenartowicz, and Aunty Lindy said the ceremony was "about Mother Earth sending out her energy and vibes to the world", and for the activation of Uluru.
"With this fire that's going on, we need a constant gentle rain to soothe over the scorched earth," Ms Lenartowicz said.
"It means going from the bottom of your feet all the way up to the centre of your head... The energy centres, or chakras," Aunty Lindy said.
"This line starts at Uluru (solar plexus) and travels through Bali (world purification centre), to Glastonbury (heart and third eye chakras) to Lake Titicaca (sacral chakra), and then back around and through to Uluru."
