The jersey features a design by local Indigenous artist Harry Pitt who took inspiration from three of local artist Auntie Trish's paintings and shoe designs.
The Hawks Indigenous Round initiative grabbed worldwide attention last season - largely thanks to San Antonio star Patty Mills - and prompted the NBL to make it a league-wide round in 2019-20.
They club also played a ground-breaking clash against the Indigenous All-Stars at the Snakepit in September - the first time the All-Stars ever took the court against NBL opposition.
"The Hawks Indigenous Jersey for 2020 tells the story of a journey; a journey in which the players lift the name of Hawks with pride in themselves and their community," Pitt said.
The design mixes Torres Strait and Aboriginal design elements focusing on oceans, rivers and sacred water holes in the Illawarra.
President of Australian Indigenous Basketball, and former longtime Hawk, Tyson Demos was the main driver of last year's successful Illawarra initiative that has seen his organisation take massive strides across the country.
The Hawks will don the strip for their final home game of the year against New Zealand in round 18.
