The striker linked up with Dragons centre Euan Aitken and Hawks youngster Angus Glover on Thursday to support the Illawarra Codes Combine Golf Day, hot on the heels of Saturday night's Football for Firies charity match. That game saw more than $30,000 raised.
With so many people impacted by the disaster, James said it's great to see the community uniting to support the victims.
"I had never seen anything like this until recently," James said. "Being from overseas, all I see is rain, and then I see these fires, it's pretty crazy.

The Illawarra Codes Combine Golf Day will be held at Wollongong Golf Club on Monday February 3.
