Last weekend's deluge has hit the Wollondilly area hard, with ongoing road closures due to flooding and damage.
"The storm has caused serious damage to our entire road network and we are working hard to carry out repairs with the safety of the community in mind," Mayor Matthew Deeth said.
Douglas Park Drive, where it crosses the Nepean River, has been closed all week due to flooding.

Council crews have been waiting for the waters to subside before going into assess the damage caused to the road.
Just two weeks ago work had started on this section of the road to install rock bolts, improving safety for road users.
Elsewhere, a section of Burragorang Road has been washed away, and nearby trees uprooted by the strength of the water flow.
"Unfortunately the whole road is washed away and will need major work to reconstruct, which will mean the road is closed for a lengthy period of time," Cr Deeth said.
Design for the permanent reconstruction of the road is already under way and has been given the highest priority.
