Todd Blanchfield and Dan Grida will return to the Boomers set-up, while Sunday Dech, Angus Glover and Sam Froling will make their international debuts.
It caps a outstanding breakout season for Dech, while a maiden Boomers singlet is a fitting reward for Glover following a long-awaited rookie campaign on the comeback from three knee reconstructions.
The squad, coached by Kings boss Will Weaver, will take on New Zealand in Brisbane on Thursday - setting up a clash with fellow Hawk Hyrum Harris - before facing Hong Kong on Sunday.
The Boomers are competing in Group C alongside Hong Kong, Guam and New Zealand, with each team playing a home and away game during the qualifying phase.
The qualifiers will be played across three windows set for February 2020, November 2020 and February 2021, with the top two teams in each group qualifying for the FIBA Asia Cup Finals in 2021.
