Emergency services took over a quiet Mount Keira street on Saturday morning, to rescue a man who slipped and fell while trying to clean his roof.

The Yates Avenue incident began about 10.30am.
NSW Ambulance Inspector Norm Rees said a 59-year-old man had only received minor injuries, possibly dislocating or fracturing his arm.
However, due to the safety issues and access to the roof, SES and NSW Fire and Rescue attended to help get him down.
An extension ladder, from a Fire and Rescue truck was used for the rescue and the man has been assessed by paramedics.
