After winning the toss and batting, Kieran Gilly set the tone with a measured 71 before the Razorbacks tail wagged.

Brett Gilly declared at 9-266 with the intent of allowing his bowlers to have a late crack at Oak Flats, however the umpires stopped play due to bad light.

"We're pretty happy," Gilly said. "It was a good start to the day, we lost some wickets through the middle, but then the tail had a wag. The last pair put on 40 to get us to 266.

"It's a good target, they're going to have to bat well if they're going to get it, we'll be pretty confident. They've got a few key wickets, if we can pick up a few early ones, we'll be in the hunt."
