Mr Haworth, of Haworth Guitars in Shellharbour and Wollongong, has just returned from Anaheim where he was invited to address hundreds of US music store owners.
At the 2020 Winter NAMM Show he spoke about using Instagram as a valuable asset to help his company gain new customers while building a strong guitar-based audience online.
He credited his staff and their online focus to achieving record figures in 2019.
"We launched our new website last year and have had a strong focus on building our online community. We have been using Instagram to showcase our guitars to the world and it's been working really well."
The invitation to share his wisdom in California followed Haworth Guitars was named in the Top 100 Music Retailers Worldwide by the NAMM Show in 2019. It is considered a huge accolade because the convention attracts more than 100,000 people annually.
Mr Haworth said it was a real honour to be asked to speak at such a significant event. "They have some world-class presenters and to be up there with them was awesome".
Mr Haworth has heen invited back to speak at the Summer NAMM Show in Nashville. But he is not only sharing his knowledge and advice in the US. He recently started a business coaching company called Resolve Coaching and is working with a variety of business owners to help them succeed both in-store and online.
"It's an exciting new venture for me" Mr Haworth said.
"I just know how tough it can be out there for retailers at the moment. So I wanted to share what we've learned with them and help them achieve their goals".
Mr Haworth said fellow Kiama resident Wade Stewart, of Atmosphere Productions, has joined him to bring his digital marketing expertise to the new venture.
"Wade has helped so many businesses all over the Illawarra already. I'm really excited to have him on board with me," he said.
The two men will running an Instagram workshop on March 21 for businesses looking to unlock the power of social media and grow their online presence.
Mr Haworth is also preparing to release his first book in 2020 as a resource for business owners.
And has a busy year planned for Haworth Guitars and Haworth Music School.
