Firefighters managed to save the prime mover and b-double trailer, but not its load of precious toilet paper.
It is unclear how much toilet paper it was transporting at the time, or where it was being transported to.
Crews from the Jugiong, Berremangra and Coolac Brigades joined Fire and Rescue units from Yass and Gundagai around 5am.
But, with shoppers lining up around the block for toilet tissue at most supermarkets around the country at the moment, the load will certainly be missed.
Meanwhile, the CEO of Woolworths, Brad Banducci, has reminded residents that the supermarket giant is not facing a shortage of any supplies.
"So, if everyone just bought what they needed we would rapidly see a full shop again in ourselves and in all of our competitors," Mr Banducci said on Wednesday night.
