The men approached a 19-year-old man and a 20-year-old woman who were sitting in a car in a Hooka Creek Rd car park about 6.30am, police said.
The three men pretended they were police officers, and demanded the pair hand over their wallets and mobile phones, NSW Police said.
They then left the scene in a white Mazda 4WD, believed to be a CX5 or CX7 model, and were last seen travelling towards Northcliffe Drive.
No one was injured.
Detectives from Lake Illawarra Police Area Command are keen to speak with anyone who was near the Berkeley netball courts on Friday morning.
