Now, you can add books to that list, thanks to the Collins bookstore outlet in Thiroul.
And it comes with a more personal touch than Amazon too.
Since last week, for anyone in self-isolation in the Thirroul postcode, sisters and bookstore owners Amanda Isler and Deb Thompson will take a book order over the phone and then deliver it to your door - for free.
Outside the Thirroul area, you have to spend at least $30 to get delivery - though books going to someone in a nursing home get a 20 per cent discount.
Ms Isler said it was a way to pay back the way the Thirroul reading community welcomed the bookstore "with open arms".
"It's a win-win thing for both of us," Ms Isler said of the free delivery service.
"We're happy to support the community in that way."
