There might not be anyone on them, but "ghost buses" are continuing to run their morning and afternoon school routes.
On Wednesday afternoon, buses from both Dion's and Premier Illawarra stopped in Lysaghts Street outside Wollongong High School of the Performing Arts and Keira High School.
With ever-dwindling numbers of students still attending school because of coronavirus, there were almost no students there to catch a bus home.

Industry sources have said the number of students catching school buses has plummeted by more than 80 per cent.
This week some school buses have carried just one student home, while on Wednesday afternoon, buses that pulled up at Lysaghts Street left empty but still drove their route.
Premier Illawarra and Dion's both deliver school buses under contract with Transport for NSW.
A Transport for NSW spokeswoman said the buses will continue to run - empty or not - as long as schools remain open.
