During the last week we have seen the mass closure of a number of non-essential services across the region and the loss of thousands of jobs.
But we also know there are many businesses still 'open for business' and being innovative to survive the coronavirus crisis.
The Illawarra Mercury wants to hear from those who are still trading and what services they are providing.
We are collating a list of businesses who remain open, what they are doing to stay in business, and most importantly, how we can support them.
Together we will get through this, because we all want the same thing; to help keep the doors open and keep local people in jobs until we get to the other side of COVID-19.
This week the Illawarra Mercury has had more than 150 local businesses submit details for our free 'open for business' service.
Simply fill out your details here if we have not yet heard from you and leave the rest to us.
For those businesses who already have submitted their details we are endeavouring to keep this list as up to date as possible.
Given things are moving quickly we may not have been notified of any changes.
If you are a business and your details have changed please submit your details here and select Change an existing entry.
You can also request to have your entry deleted.
