In his president's update Bob De La Hunty said the arrival of the aircraft would be the next big showcase for HARS which has been closed since March and is working towards reopening when it can.
"We're working through all the technical issues and breaking through the fog on so much," Mr De La Hunty said.
"We're more determined than ever to see it fly here when it's ready.
"Look forward to the future excitement".
Travolta is reported to be still keen on flying in on the aircraft when it arrives.
