Premier Gladys Berejiklian announced the easing of some social distancing restrictions for eateries on Sunday.
The Premier said restaurants and cafes will be required to maintain social distancing of 1.5 metres between people and four square metres space per person.

While Ms Berejiklian said that may mean some smaller venues can only have two or three people inside at a time the step is already being welcomed by some Illawarra operators.
Asked if he would be letting people dine-in at Grill'd on Friday franchisee Lube Markovski said "Absolutely".
"Any opportunity to get dine-in is a real bonus," Mr Markovski said.
"It brings a sense of normality to our lives and the lives of our guests.
"We will however need to be very diligent with hygiene practices and social distancing regulations.
"We are very excited to be able to do it".
