Joel, Sarah, Heath and Ashleigh Moir.had been working on a fifth album in late 2019. But when Mr Moir had an accident the family was unable to complete production of the CD.
Earlier this year they did manage to record the tracks from the Paronella Park show but within weeks COVID-19 brought everything to a stop.The family also lost all bookings for 2020 which means the Moirs have been unable to fund the editing, mixing, mastering, cover design and manufacturing of CDs.
With people still seeking music from The String Family a Pozible campaign was launched so fans and supporters could help bring the album to market by July. That will also help provide the family income while they are unable to perform live with COVID-19 restrictions
