The new, free online music festival, Sea Tunes took place on Sunday.
Organised in conjunction with Destination Kiama, the featured artists were Glenn Whitehall, The Water Runners, Joe Mungovan, Emma Davison and Penny Hartgerink.
The artists and organisers donated their time for the event, with the owners of Sebel Harbourside, Kiama also donating their venue for the broadcast.
The festival was live-streamed via a number of different Facebook pages, including 'Kiama NSW' and the respective musicians' pages.
Speaking on Monday, one of the organisers, Brendon Comber said the event already had about 6000 views.
"Everything worked really well, and all the artists played really well," he said.
"The feedback I got from all the artists was great, it was very positive feedback.
"The number of views that we got surpassed the number we thought we were going to get."
Mr Comber said he hoped to host more similar live-streamed events in Kiama.
Karen Ronning, manager tourism and events at Kiama council said the event was a "wonderful showcase of local talent".
"It was extremely well-received by both the musicians and also our local community," she said.
"We have a vibrant music scene here with a lot of musicians and festivals, so it's very much a part of what the Kiama area can offer."
