A 16-year-old boy will face court on Tuesday accused of breaking into aged-care homes in Albion Park Rail and stealing from elderly residents while they slept.

The teenager allegedly gained entry into two units in the Warrigal facility and stole personal items, including bank cards, some time between 11pm last Wednesday night and 7am the next morning.
Police will allege that cash was withdrawn from an ATM using the stolen cards a short time later.
The matter was reported to police and an investigation commenced by officers from Lake Illawarra Police District.
Following extensive inquiries, investigators executed a search warrant at a home in Albion Park Rail about 3.15pm on Monday and seized clothing and a mobile phone.
A teenager was arrested and taken to Lake Illawarra Police Station, where he was charged with two counts of aggravated break, enter and steal, and dishonestly obtain property by deception.
He was refused bail and is due to appear in a children's court on Tuesday.
