Management of the popular facility at Helensburgh, where kids can get up close and personal with the animals, made the announcement in a Facebook post on Wednesday.
The response was quick, with comments such as "Ohhhh best news ever", "Woo hoo!!" and "That's great news, my kids have been waiting to do their red panda experience they got for Christmas".
The park's animals range from koalas, kangaroos, echidnas, wombats and dingoes to reptiles and tigers, red pandas, cheetahs, ring-tailed lemurs, meerkats and monkeys.
Last weekend, the state government gave the go-ahead for zoos, aquariums and wildlife parks across NSW to reopen from June 1, provided they developed a COVID-19 safety plan that addressed measures in the NSW Health check-list.
Customer Service Minister Victor Dominello said, "Zoos and wildlife parks are very experienced at managing people, and they will need to ensure patrons are aware of their responsibilities and what they need to do to have a fun and safe day".
Symbio Wildlife Park said: "We are thrilled to announce that as of Monday 1 June, we will once again be opening our doors to welcome you all back, with a few tweaks and changes to keep us all safe.
"To help us look after you as efficiently as possible we are requesting all visitors jump online to www.symbiozoo.com.au and pre-purchase your tickets before arrival.
"For all our existing season passes, gift voucher and pre-purchase experience holders, you'll be pleased to know we are automatically extending the expiration dates for the length of period we were closed.
"Throughout this time our advanced cleaning procedures will continue and general admission and park access will return 7 days a week from 9.30am - 5pm.
"We cannot thank you enough for the continued support, and can't wait to welcome you all back to come and relax as you reconnect with family and friends and enjoy the fresh air with the company of the wonderful animals and their keepers here at Symbio.
"If you have been sick, have flu-like symptoms, or have come into contact with someone who has, we ask that you take some time to relax and recoup, and we would love to have you visit when you are feeling 100%. It will make your experience far more enjoyable."
