It wasn't the 1568-day drought Right Or Wrong broke when he saluted at Doomben on Saturday, but Gwenda Markwell's Thor's Thunder has snapped a lengthy dry spell of his own at Kembla Grange.

Twenty months after he claimed a maiden in September 2018, and seven placings later, the five-year-old stormed down the centre of the track to take out a 1400 metre class one handicap.
Markwell was typically understated post race, but praised jockey Alysha Collett for her ride.
"He's a funny sort of horse, how to ride him, he likes things going his way a little bit," Markwell told Sky Racing. "But he certainly went good for that girl (Collett).
"She's done a very good job."
The win came on a heavy nine, the gelding's third top-three finish on a wet track this campaign.
With softer tracks expected throughout the cooler winter months, Markwell is hopeful she won't have to wait as long for Thor's Thunder's next win.
"Coming into winter, it's going to suit him," Markwell said.
The victory ended a challenging period for the Illawarra's leading trainer, Markwell's last winner coming on her home track on April 18.
Fourteen placings came in that span, including two in the early races on Saturday.
Gelding Librarian fought hard to finish third in a 1600m maiden before Teronito was second in a 1400m three-year-old maiden.
That race was won by Theresa Bateup's Eberlee, the filly racing down the outside of the track to claim an impressive victory.
Speaking post-race, the trainer was pleased with the way her charge handled the wet track.
"She's just got a really good attitude," Bateup said. "She's a real professional and she's improved with every start, so it's nice to see her get one on the board.
"She'd never been tested on [the wet track], that was the only query coming into today. But she's only a light-framed filly, she's light-footed, so I was hoping she'd skip across the ground, which she did."
