A right-turn change is the wrong idea as far as some Towradgi residents are concerned.

Wollongong City Council is planning to make changes to Towradgi Road that is expected to put an end to motorists sailing over the Towradgi Hump.
Part of that work will also see right turns in and out of Carters Lane banned, with motorists having to travel through the traffic lights at the Towradgi Road and Pioneer Road intersection.
Towradgi resident David Phipps believes that will create a problem for those people living in streets that branch off Carters Lane.
Mr Phipps lives in Marlo Road, which runs between Carters Lane and Pioneer Road.
He said his road and Murranar Road to the north will suffer the same fate - with no right turns into Carters Lane residents coming off Memorial Drive will have to go around the block to get to their own home.
"From our point of view it makes it pretty dangerous," Mr Phipps said.
"It makes it much more complex for us in terms of moving in and out of our local suburb."
On top of that he was concerned it would lead to more drivers cutting through suburban streets to access their own homes further down Carters Lane.
"As families grow there are more and more cars parked on those streets," he said.
"If there's a no right turn from Towradgi Road into Carters Lane it will deliver traffic down to Pioneer Road and then bring more traffic back up Marlo and Murranar roads, which is the only way for local residents to get back onto Carters Lane."
A Wollongong City Council spokeswoman said introducing a no right turn would not have a big impact on traffic.
"A review of traffic flows on Towradgi Road show that right turns into and out of Carters Lane are a small proportion of the traffic numbers, but are disruptive to the east bound traffic flows on Towradgi Road," she said.
"If those vehicles remain on Towradgi Road and turn right at Pioneer Road, traffic flows will be improved and the risk of crashes reduced."
