Illawarra Women in Business (IWIB) director Glenda Papac had originally planned for the winners to be announced on May 15. 2020 but was forced to cancel the annual celebration of business women's success in the region when the COVID-19 lockdown commenced in late March. But after announcing the event will be cut down to just three awards later in the year she re-evaluated the situation last week following the further easing of restrictions.
"All the original award categories are now going ahead with the awards day taking place at Villa D'Oro on July 31," Mrs Papac said.
"But numbers will be restricted to 100 people with finalists, sponsors and judges prioritised first.
