A man has been injured on a worksite at the University of Wollongong's main campus.

NSW Ambulance paramedics were called about 8am Wednesday to a construction site off Ring Road, opposite the university's Early Start Discovery Centre.
The man, believed aged 20, is understood to have fallen through a roof and dislocated his shoulder.
He was fully conscious and breathing when met by paramedics.
He was able to walk himself off the site and into an ambulance, bound for Wollongong Hospital.
