The program, designed to help people through social distancing, is supported by the NSW Government as part of its COVID-19 Grant Program.
The initiative involves the reactivation of Warrigal's 400 volunteers who have been restricted during COVID-19.
They will provide social engagement opportunities for people in isolation to help reduce loneliness.
Warrigal chief executive Mark Sewell said in uncertain times like these people can find themselves disconnected from family and friends and can struggle to find ways to connect.
"Given the knowledge, experience and passion our volunteers bring we believe it will be beneficial for other older people living in the region," he said.
Connect-19 provides regular ongoing social calls between volunteers and participants.
As well as training and technical support and easy to follow instructions for older people in the use of smart devices.
