They may be only game back but Brad Boardman is convinced: his Helensburgh Thistles won't take a backwards step in 2020.

The Thistles returned to the field on Saturday for their first match in nearly four months, securing a convincing 3-1 win over fellow District League side Fernhill.
The victory means Helensburgh will advance to round three of this year's Bert Bampton Cup. They will travel to Picton to face the Rangers this weekend.
Coach Boardman hopes they will build on their promising effort against Fernhill at Rex Jackson Park.
"All round the pitch, there wasn't really one player that stood out. Everyone made an amazing effort," he said.
"It was one of the first times that I've really seen a physical side of us. In the past, we've been the team that gets knocked off the ball and belted around a bit - but we gave it back to them. That was something that stood out for me, the physical side of us. I was really impressed with the boys. It was a good result for us."
Helensburgh finished second on the District League ladder last year and reached the semi finals, where they fell 2-1 to Thirroul Thunder.
Now, Boardman said the Thistles were looking to rebuild this season.
"We have quite a big squad this year, all of our youth grade have moved into first grade," Boardman said.
"The boys have tried really well and they're all putting in. They've really adapted to the way I like to play and that showed on Saturday - that was sort of the difference.
"We're a fast and fit team, and it's [the game plan] suiting us quite well."
