Brett Lazzarini took another significant stride in his training comeback with Bride Of Vengeance, but it was a couple of eye-catching runs from stablemates which showed enormous potential.

Lazzarini, previously a successful trainer based at Ballina, produced at Kembla Grange on Thursday, when four-year-old Mossman mare Bride Of Vengeance overcame a three wide trip to win a 1000m Maiden.
But as she kicked clear late, the debut of Taumalolo was super impressive, after being held up in the straight only to finish off well to be 3.4 lengths back fourth.
"It's a very good run," Lazzarini told Sky Racing.
"He's the horse to watch for the future, I think he's actually going to come back a better horse than her.
"They are half brothers and sisters, but I think she shows a lot of potential, I wouldn't be disappointed, I'd be looking for him next time in."
Later, former Godolphin filly Frazil, in her first start for Lazzarini in the yellow, red and blue of the Lavalle family colours, came from last on the turn to flash home for fourth in a 1200m Class 1 Handicap, with Winona Costin aboard.
Brad Widdup's gelding Fenech claimed his second win in three career starts, but only after spearing off the track in the closing stages and edging out the Gwenda Markwell-trained Stolen Glance.
It was Costin who delivered a measured ride on Bride Of Vengeance, having jumped well from the outside gate.
Rather than risk overworking to cross and lead, she found another gear despite being three wide.
"I said to Winona, and it comes from Bart Cummings 'good jockeys don't need instructions, bad ones don't follow them out'," Lazzarini said. "Use your own discretion, if you need to go forward, go forward and if you don't, use your ability.
"She got caught a bit deep, but she held her well-balanced and had her travelling in the run and won well."
Theresa Bateup continued her consistent recent run of winners when Golly I'm Lucky flashed late to claim Thursday's Benchmark 70 over 1200m.
Slow away, Brock Ryan presented the five-year-old gelding to the outside after a positive ride on the turn, and Golly I'm Lucky did the rest.
He beat home Matthew Dale's Terra Reign, who was game ahead of the Robert and Luke Price-trained Power Rush.
Sydney trainer Joe Pride finished with a winning double, as Derbari surged to the lead at the 100m to take out a Benchmark 64 over 1400m.
El Cohete survived a determined challenge from Mark Newnham's Sweeping Brook after a dripping duel in a 1200m Maiden.
