The open age competition, which was to kick-off on Saturday after clubs pulled out of the first grade season, Wests and Thirroul joined the Presidents Cup and Helensburgh's moved into the Sydney Shield, will be delayed.
"For the first grade teams we couldn't cater for we wish them the best of luck in the Sydney Shield and Presidents Cup," IRL general manager Chris Bannerman said.
Corrimal were to play Helensburgh and Dapto against Avondale, while Illawarra-South Coast under 13 to 16 games have also been delayed.
"The board (of management) will convene next week to confirm how all competitions may progress from next weekend, and if draws require adjustment given the timeframe we have outlined currently with 26/27 Sept allocated for grand finals in senior competitions," an IDRL statement read.
