The Real Estate Institute of NSW (REINSW) recently announced the finalists for its annual Awards for Excellence.
This year there are 11 agency categories and 12 individual categories.
Illawarra agents and agencies have been featured among the finalists.
Darnell Haselau (Stone Real Estate Illawarra) is a finalist in the 'Business Development Manager' category.
Neil Webster from Stone Real Estate Illawarra has been recognised in the 'Community Service' category.
Also, Stone Real Estate Illawarra's Catherine Kaye is a finalist in the 'Residential Property Manager' category.
Meanwhile, the Bulli-based Molenaar + McNeice has been acknowledged in the 'Real Estate Agency - Medium' area.
The Kiama/Gerringong-based First National Coast & Country is also a finalist in the 'Residential Sales Team' category.
REINSW president Leanne Pilkington said this year the Awards for Excellence is bigger than ever despite the COVID-19 pandemic, which brought the industry's usual working practices to a virtual standstill.
"We received the highest number of entries ever which is even more gratifying as entrants were also simultaneously dealing with the fallout from the COVID-19 pandemic," Ms Pilkington said.
"The Awards for Excellence is an opportunity to highlight our industry's greatest successes and most outstanding achievements."
The Awards for Excellence Gala Dinner is currently scheduled for October 30.
