"Our online learning has been strengthened and we have some wonderful new processes now that we will continue to grow, such as our Zoom parent-teacher meetings which were enormously successful, and the slick online subject selections process which is working extremely well," principal Suzi Clapham said.
"The highlight for me, as the retiring principal of APHS, was the 'Black Lives Matter' assembly that was held late last term which was put on by our wonderful year 12 students and where all of year 12 students bent the knee in respect of lives lost.
"This highlighted our students' leadership, organisation, empathy and outstanding communication skills.
"All of the skills which we emphasise at APHS and are even more essential in the 'new post COVID world' in which we find ourselves.
"Congratulations to our year 7 students who, as part of their HUB learning, had a project based learning question posed, 'How can we make Albion Park more liveable?'
"Their ideas and presentations were outstanding and they received a certificate from the local council for their efforts."
The school is open for students back to onsite learning, with pandemic government regulations followed.
Albion Park High School is located at 120 Church Street, Albion Park.
