"Today was really about celebrating the day and the strength and culture of our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander kids.
"It was a day to help them stand tall and feel connected and be proud. Importantly it is a day for all Australians - for us to show our respect and support for our Aboriginal students and to learn about the crucial impact of their culture, family and community."
