Pellow will again line up for Dubbo CYMS on Sunday in the Presidents Cup meeting with Wests Devils at Parrish Park where he starred, alongside brother Colby, following their departure from Dubbo after the 2015 season.

His performances earned him a lucrative deal with French club Carcassonne but, after just settling in at his new club in Europe earlier this year, COVID-19 struck and it forced him back to Dubbo.

While Pellow hopes to return to France later this year, he's savouring the chance to play in the green and white of CYMS again in the Presidents Cup.

On Sunday the two clubs the Pellow brothers have won premierships with will do battle, with one on either side.

"I think this will be the weirdest match-up of the day against him, we have played together since 2015 and never against each other," the younger brother said.

"At the end of the day he's an opposing player, so we will just get about our business and play footy, but of course we will soak this opportunity up of playing against each other.

"It will be pretty cool, we are both looking forward to it and have been messaging each other all week about it."

The healthy rivalry between the two brothers will be a highlight of Sunday's crucial fixture but the bond between the pair is a special one.

When Tony made his first grade debut in Group 11 Colby was there in the CYMS side, and he's previously referred to his older brother as a father figure who's always looked out for him.

"Looking back on those times with Colby are some of the best times I've had during footy," he said.

"We have been pretty lucky to play with two very successful clubs in CYMS and Wests and won a comp which each together. It's a special feeling playing with your brother and I think everyone who has a brother who plays with them could tell you that."

The reunion was in doubt after Colby was injured in his side's round two win over the Western Rams but he's recovered and will line up in the centres on Sunday while Tony will again be at fullback for the Fishies.

The match is a crucial one as both sides have one win each after three rounds and the victor on Sunday could move within striking range of the cup's top two.

Wests played a huge role in making Pellow the player he is today and the youngster will always feel part of the club but he's got no doubt CYMS can get the job done on Sunday and help him claim bragging rights over many of his good mates.

"If we can build off our last 20 minutes, where I thought we were really good last weekend, I think we give ourselves every chance of getting a win this weekend," Tony said.

"I just see myself with someone who can bring energy, effort and enthusiasm to this CYMS team. I think if I get them right then the spark comes off the back of that and the players we have around.

Sunday's match kicks off at 12pm at Parish Park.
