And Bulli's players appear to be responding positively to their coach's mantra.
Bulli have recorded two wins, including a 5-1 victory over Coniston last week, to sit on top of the IPL's ladder.
While he believes there's room for improvement, Miranda has been happy with their start to 2020.
"I've mainly been happy with how the boys have taken on my way of wanting to play football, and adapting to changes," he said.
"We've been changing the normal way that a lot of teams play. There's a lot of flexibility in what we do, and I think it's probably what's been our strongest point. Last week, it was good that we got a few goals and hopefully we'll keep putting them away.
"Obviously there's a few things we need to sort out, but the guys are going well. It's just about trying to make sure everyone is fit and stays out on the field. We've had good kids that are sitting on the bench and we have senior guys itching to get back into the line-up."
