The band's third studio album Brain Candy debuted at number 2 - surpassing Wollongong's last major exports, '90s stoner band Tumbleweed.
The duo-turned-trio, has slowly been climbing the musical ladder of success since they came on the scene in 2013. Their last effort, Blend Inn, entered the album charts at number 6.
It comes after their Hockey Dad's sell-out drive in album launch concerts at Bulli Showgrounds were postponed until October, after organisers blamed wet weather for the cancellation.
Each event was to host up to 400 cars - with up to five people in each car - with the live feed of the concert transmitted through their car radios.
However, the boys found another way to showcase their new tunes in a unique way - streaming a 'Live-Scream' concert from Wollongong's Regent Theatre via YouTube.
They played to a crowd of fully kitted out zombies while fans joined in to watch from around the world
