The park is open daily between 7am and 6pm, with most beaches and walking tracks open, but some restrictions remain in place as a precaution due to COVID-19.
The park was closed for two days mid-August as a precautionary measure as Parks Australia monitored the coronavirus situation in the region following news of two confirmed COVID-19 cases who had transited the Jervis Bay Territory (JBT).
Health advice is that the risk to the JBT community is very low, however the safety of the community, staff and visitors continues to be Parks Australia's highest priority and therefore stage one restrictions remain in place.
The following areas are open to visitors - Green Patch, Iluka, Murrays Beach and boat ramp, Bristol Point, Ellmoos Road, Cave Beach and the Booderee Botanic Gardens.
Areas closed include all camping areas, Stoney Creek Road (including Cape St George Lighthouse, Moe's Rock, Stoney Creek and Steamers Beach access), Booderee Visitors Centre (car park is open for Wi-Fi access if required for park information and visitor centre staff will be available by phone and email) and Summercloud Bay (including the boat ramp, beach and surf access in Summercloud Bay).
Don't forget to maintain social distancing.
Some paths or areas may be one-directional or have other health and safety restrictions related to COVID-19, with visitors requested to please observe directional signs and guidance.
