The Illawarra Business Chamber is eager to make it a celebration of business excellence in what has been a challenging year.
Executive director Adam Zarth said the ceremony will be themed 'celebrating under the stars' and will capture the essence of the Illawarra's resilient business community.
He said due to a government-imposed cap on 'corporate events' at 150 attendees it will be an afternoon event this year with two representatives from each finalist in attendance along with a limited number of sponsors, judges and special guests.
Mr Zarth said the ceremony will be live streamed by WIN Television to ensure the entire community can witness the presentation as it happens.
"With just over a month left to go, we are excited to announce that the Awards will be proceeding as a live event. I'm sure everyone will appreciate that to ensure the safety of the community we must limit attendance and adhere to COVID-safe requirements throughout the ceremony," he said.
"However it is vital that we celebrate the Illawarra business community's excellence and resilience this year more than ever."
