The St Vincent de Paul Society NSW has opened applications for the second round of the Community Bushfire Grants Program, using donations from the Vinnies Bushfire Appeal.
During the first round $308,000 was allocated across 19 community projects in fire affected communities around the state helping with everything from infrastructure repairs, counselling, education and programs promoting community inclusion and engagement.
In the second round $900,000 will be provided through grants of up to $20,000 to help registered community organisations to lead their own local recovery projects.
