Sitting on 561sqm, the five-bedroom, four-bathroom home at 91 Callows Road, Bulli has a price guide of $2.2 million.
Arranged over three levels, the home offers panoramic ocean views from most rooms.
Owners David and Deborah Ginn purchased the land in 2017, and set about creating a family home with a Hamptons-style feel.
The couple co-designed it with the help of Illawarra firm MK Draft & Design.
"When we were designing it and coming up with a plan... You look at it, and it's that beach-y feel," Mr Ginn said.
The Hamptons-style approach is inspired by the architecture and decorating of holiday homes in the seaside communities along the eastern beaches of upstate New York's neighbouring Long Island.
A key element to this look is liberal use of the colour white.
The home was completed about a year ago.
"We got help from an interior designer, and you can see there's a big influence there with that style," he said.
"I like the fact that you could have built this house 20 or 30 years ago, and it's still valid.
"It's just one of those things where I just don't know if they ever go out of fashion. So that's what I like about it, that it has that appeal for years to come."
Mr Ginn said the kitchen was among his favourite features of the home.
Mr Ginn said they were selling the property due to potential work opportunities outside the region.
"It could suit someone with a family of two or three, but I suppose if you got on well with your in-laws you could have them in there as well," he said.
"It is a dream home and it's a bit sad that we are selling it, but someone else is going to hopefully enjoy it as much as we did."
Other features include a home cinema room, plus rumpus or fifth bedroom on the ground level with fourth bathroom.
Living areas with high ceilings flow to an east facing balcony with ocean views, while a sheltered alfresco dining area leads to landscaped, lawned garden.
Selling agent, McGrath Thirroul's Vanessa Denison-Pender said the early interest in the listing was predominantly from Sydney buyers, as well as locals looking to upgrade.
"It's absolutely brand new and stunning - it's a big family house with very generous proportions and beautifully finished throughout," she said.
"It's got a bush backdrop and beautiful ocean views, and in a really quiet setting.
"We've had some really good sales with this type of Hamptons-style luxury home recently."
