The competition was delayed this year - as part of the NSW Covid-19 restrictions - and has now been changed to a condensed five-week season of Friday night and Sunday games.
Wollongong will take three teams to Sydney this year, led by the women's division one, returning to the Vawdon Cup for the first time in three years.
While a number of injury concerns has led to the Devils withdrawing from the men's Premier League, as well as men's division two and boy's youth teams.
"We are used to playing just the one Friday game each week and the occasional double-header," Wollongong Touch Association vice-president Tim Robinson said. "So this format will be demanding on the bodies considering no one has played any rep touch since State Cup last year.
"It's disappointing our men's Premier League were a late withdrawal due to a back log of injuries from the footy season. But it's great to have a women's side return to Vawdon Cup for the first time in three years. And I'm excited to watch our first ever youth boys side."
In the men's division two competition, Wollongong face Manly in the season opener, who beat them in last year's grand final.
The youth boys clash with Canterbury, while the women take on Hills.
The nine-round draw includes double-headers on Sunday and again on November 1. The semi-finals are then played on November 6 and 8, with the grand finals on November 13.
