Police are hunting two men believed responsible for a string of overnight break-ins at Lake Illawarra businesses.

Concealing their faces behind hooded jumpers and with black gloves on their hands, the men set out on a smash-and-grab spree between 3am and 4am Tuesday.
They set off security alarms at a coffee shop on Shellharbour Road at Warilla about 3am. Half an hour later, they raided the Bean Roasted coffee shop at Calderwood Valley, then triggered alarms at HL Nail Salon in Albion Park about 4am.
Bean Roasted owner Christian Lovatt estimates the raid cost his business about $2000 in losses, damage and lost trade on Tuesday.
The cafe's cash box, float and tips were taken in a raid captured on security cameras.
"They came in through the front door and smashed the front door glass, using a big crowbar-looking thing. They've gone straight through and basically turned the shop upside down.
"They didn't get much out of us, but the inconvenience they caused ... "
"They were pretty quick. They were pretty well out in 30 seconds."
Footage taken from the HL Nail Salon shows one of the men rifling behind hte counter.
Business owner Lan Nguyen said the men collected the day's takings - about $450.
Officers from Lake Illawarra Police District attended the targeted premises. Specialist forensic officers were to examine the sites later Tuesday.
